The purpose of our Asbury Research blog is to stay in touch with those who have previously expressed interest in our investment research. We do this by introducing, explaining, and providing samples of the 8 different reports that we provide for Asbury Research clients throughout the month.
This week we are featuring our June 2012 US Financial Market Chart Book (distributed to our clients on June 1st) in a blog posting for the first time.
Our Chart Book is a monthly collection of key charts and data that collectively convey our best investment ideas for the next one to several months, and includes an accompanying video in which John Kosar, Director of Research, walks you through the details of each investment idea.
This report is a particularly good example of what Asbury Research focuses on, our approach, and how we think as a firm.
2 key takeaways since our June 1st report:
- On Page 1 we stated favorable conditions for at least a minor rebound to emerge in the US stock market during June. The S&P 500 bottomed at 1267 the day after our report, on June 4th, and has since rebounded by 111 points or 9% into this morning’s highs.
- The S&P 500 is currently testing the upper edge of the overhead resistance level that we displayed and discussed on Page 4.
