VIDEO: John Kosar, Director of Research, appeared on Bloomberg TV’s Street Smart on September 11th 2012 with hosts Adam Johnson and Alix Steel to discuss Asbury Research’s outlook for the US stock market into Q4 2012 and into early 2013.

On Sep 11th Kosar said:
- there was more downside risk than upside potential in the US broad market,
- I was expecting an upcoming decline of at least 5% to 8% in the S&P 500, and
- I was looking for coincident upcoming relative underperformance by Technology issues.
The S&P 500 peaked 3 days after John’s appearance, on September 14th at 1475, and has since declined by 7% through Friday, November 9th. Meanwhile, the NASDAQ 100 has coincidentally underperformed the S&P 500, as we expected, by 4% during the same 2-month period.
