CNBC’s Street Signs

VIDEO: John Kosar, Director of Research, appeared on CNBC’s Street Signs on May 15th 2012 with hosts Brian Sullivan and Mandy Drury to discuss Asbury Research’s outlook for the US stock market through the remainder of Q2 and into Q3 2012.

Kosar said that the current US stock market decline from the early April highs appeared to be only around halfway completed and discussed the potential for another -5% decline in the major US averages, to around 1280 in the S&P 500, amid a continuation of recent relative underperformance by the Technology Sector.  John and Brian also discussed oil’s potential influence on US equity prices.

Since John’s May 15th appearance the S&P 500 continued to decline as expected, by an additional 6% to as low as 1267 on June 4th, led by Technology issues.
